"In August I received a copy of the book 'Introduction to Loudspeaker Design'. The book has been read over and over again. Every time I discover new facts and ways to solve existing problems in loudspeaker systems. It is a pity that the size of the book limits the author in going in deeper, giving more theoretical details.

Is there a chance that in the near future there will be a second title for the more theoretical parts of the subjects?"

BTW, I just wanted to thank you for your introduction book.. it's only the 2nd book on speaker building I've picked up, and already has made everything_vastly_more clear....the cookbook approach most people use merely leaves me feeling confused, and I'm much more happy now that I understand some of the math.

"I'm a new user to WinSpeakerz, and I just wanted to write and say how much I appreciate this piece of software. I wanted to design some speaker enclosures to save some money, and being in the construction trade building the enclosures was never a problem, however matching the enclosures to the speakers was something I knew very little about.

I ordered WinSpeakerz and as soon as I received the program I sat down and read the manual (how many guys actually do that?!!!!), and set in to design a dual 15" sub cabinet for my PA System. To be honest it was quite a leap of faith considering I wanted to use the best materials for the construction of the cabinets, and that cost a bit of money. My bandmates met my idea with mixed emotions, and they were a little dubious, I drew scoffs from other people around also, but trudged ahead.

After completion of the enclosures I hooked them up, and they sounded good, after tweaking my crossover and EQ a little they sounded great. I've played 3 gigs with them so far, and everytime we play they sound better.

I have no idea if the enclosures are performing like the program says they will, I have more than enough tight, loud bass for any venue I need to play, in fact the largest venue we play holds about 600 people, and the club manager said that during sound check we had to turn down.

After building the enclosures I have been contracted to build 4 more just like the ones I have. A local DJ company wants a pair, the owner said that for the money there is not a production line of speaker that will touch what I built."
